Trim Carpentry in Tampa, FL

Trim is the difference between a room that is built and a room that is finished. Frost Custom Carpentry handles crown, casing, and the finish details that make a room look done.

It is also what makes a built-in belong: crown that meets the ceiling, casing that wraps a doorway, and edges that sit tight to the wall.

What that covers.

Where trim gets hard.

Plenty of Tampa houses have vaulted great rooms, tray ceilings, and rounded corners. None of those meet at a clean right angle, which is exactly where trim work shows.

Walls are rarely straight and ceilings are rarely level either. Good trim hides that. It gets cut and fitted to the room as it really is, not as the plans said it would be.

Questions, answered.

What counts as trim carpentry?

The finish woodwork in a room: crown where the wall meets the ceiling, the casing around doors and windows, and the details that close the gaps and make a space look complete.

Can trim work be part of a built-in project?

Yes. Our built-ins are finished with crown and casing so the piece meets the ceiling and the walls cleanly.

My ceiling is sloped. Is that a problem?

No. Pieces in our gallery are fitted under a vaulted ceiling. Sloped and uneven surfaces are measured on site and the work is cut to them.

How do I get a price?
